The location was ideal for us being central to our holiday plan. We enjoyed breakfast & dinner at the hotel throughout our 4 night stay. Breakfast was good as were dinners. Bar menu was more varied in the bar than the dining restaurant but it was possible to select from both menus. Overall quality was good. We were made to feel welcome by all the staff.

We stayed 3 nights in the Conon Suite which was fabulous. Loads of room and nice big comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing and we also had dinner here on two nights which was also very good. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

We had a short but lovely stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for the night, with plenty of amenities for a longer stay.
Our hosts were very helpful in the lead up to our stay and genuinely kind people. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful breakfast in the garden hut.
Flanders Fields offers exceptional value for money, and we would not hesitate to recommend it and book here again in the future.
Thank you for having us.

Very much enjoyed my stay. Sandra, the host/owner greeted me with much warmth and showed me to my single room, which was perfect for my two night stay. Warm, comfortable and excellent WiFi. My private bathroom had the option of using the bath, which is a rarity nowadays, or a power shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of continental, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt or a fully cooked breakfast. Cannot fault anything. Will definitely be booking again.

Dingwall is an interesting town with shops worth visiting and other amenities for locals and visitors alike. The hotels have an important part to play in selling the town and area but my experience on this visit this was not being done.
Hotel receptionists and other staff have a crucial part to play in this process by welcoming guests and making them aware of the area's attractions and amenities - if the customer is interested.
Dingwall has some great individual shops but there was no attempt to find out why we were there and what could have been of interest to us.
Quaint independent shopping, excellent coffee shop three doors down from Harry's excellent bakery, Very good hiking , We did a great Strathpeffer to Dingwell hike up to and along the ridge, great views all around,

Didn't do much in Dingwall, used the hotel as a base, the main street very run down,if you don't mind driving beautiful scenery everywhere, especially in a trip to Ullapool,it was a very cold and frosty day, stunning,we ate lunch out wherever we went, and ate in the hotel at night,no complaints all round.

Dingwall is a very pleasant wee town in a beautiful part of the country and we found the locals to be very welcoming. It's on the rail route north from Inverness so is easy to get to if you don't want to drive. There a good selection of eating places and Inverness is only 12 miles away if you want a bit more to do.

Quaint little town in the southern highlands, just north of Inverness and away from the stresses of the city traffic… Dingwall provides the best of both worlds, with plenty to do in the local area, easy access to the surrounding areas and peaceful country vibes.
The bothy was at an excellent location, close to Dingwall and Inverness but far enough to enjoy the remoteness of Scotland. It was a very comfortable house with everything I needed and since I had quite some tough hikes before this stay it was great to have the luxury if this bothy. I spent 3 days here, one with a nice 7 mile walk around the bothy, the second day was spent in Inverness and the third day I had to drive for 1 hour to climb the An Teallach ridge. So much to do and everything close by.. loved it!
The little gal at the desk was SO nice!! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and before and after breakfast, we went for a walk around the area and saw some cool things. The breakfast was "Continental", but there was a fairly large selection of things to choose from. The coffee was WONDERFUL!! 😁
If we come back again and need to stay in that vicinity, we will DEFINITELY go back!!!
I spent a few days in the beautiful town of Dingwall, Scotland. The hotel where I stayed was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I ended my evenings with some excellent Scottish whisky that they offered. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Dingwall is a great destination in Scotland.
Great location..stunning home..thee most beautiful ..comfortable …immaculate room…we have ever had the pleasure to stay in! absolute perfection..our hostess Gillian the most wonderful lovely lady….her breakfast and breakfast room to die for….anyone coming to Dingwall will love Carnaby house! Great flat near the centre of Dingwall - but nice and quiet. Friendly host, well-equipped kitchen, good sized rooms, all mod cons, everything spotlessly clean. Heating easy to control. Handy location for the station and buses.
super convenient to town. Allison was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. the breakfast were well cooked and plentiful. the room was very comfortable and the bathroom was recently constructed
The hotel was very clean and surprisingly quiet. The restaurant and bar were just downstairs so it was great for tired travellers :) The staff was very kind. The food was excellent!
Every thing was great about this hotel. The owner has renovated but retained the historical sense of the hotel. The locals are warm and friendly and it is a perfect setting
Friendly host, gave us lots of suggestions for where to eat in Dingwall. Also knowledgeable about nearby attractions and places to visit. A hearty breakfast was provided.
Central location in Dingwall, at the south end of the High Street and close to the railway station. Breakfast was complimentary and ample. TV was a nice bonus too.
Host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions via email. Room was spotless and well equipped. Will definitely use again when up in Dingwall
